The New Up-by-u Phone Holder is Like Furniture for Your Phone

Rhode Island, USA – On October 15 2015, Alex Soriano launched a Kickstarter campaign for Up-by-u, a phone holder that solves the problem of having nowhere to put your phone when there isn’t furniture around the outlet. Up-by-u provides an easy way to place your phone upright so it is accessible while it is being charged.

“Up-by-u is designed to keep the phone within reach. It hides the cords to achieve a cleaner look,” the creator explains, “The cover that hides the cord is magnetic and can be easily removed any time you want to get the cord out of it in case you need to take it with you. The phone is resting on a simple platform that allows you to place your keys close to your phone.”

For this campaign, the creator is offering several different phone holders in addition to Up-by-u, like the Traveler (a portable one), a mini shelf which can be used to hold objects up to two pounds and a desk holder. Each of these items are available in either white veneer or bamboo.

Up-by-u uses 3M wall-safe double sided tape that can be easily removed at any time and is available at most hardware stores and grocery stores in case you need more. 

“Up-by-u is made with a laser cutter for great precision. The company making the parts is PONOKO which is based in California,” says Soriano, “They helped to bring many Kickstarter projects to life and they are well known for their quality and reliability. This product is 100% designed and made in the USA.”
